Product Description
The skimmer serves as the “first line of defense” in a swimming pool’s water circulation system. Its primary function is to automatically capture and collect debris floating on the water’s surface—such as fallen leaves, insects, hair, pollen, and dust—intercepting these materials before they can become waterlogged, sink, and contaminate the pool floor.
The skimmer is connected to the pool’s circulation pump via an intake port at its base. Driven by the suction of the pump, water from the surface—which typically contains the most contaminants—is continuously drawn into the skimmer. It passes through an internal filter basket before being routed to the primary filtration equipment, such as a sand filter, for thorough purification.
